Can I export Gemini Notebook flashcards to Anki?
Last verified: October 27, 2026
Not natively. As of October 2026 Google documents no flashcard export from Gemini Notebook. Third-party extensions such as NotebookLM Tools list a CSV export you can import into a spaced-repetition app. Notebook Toolkit does not export Studio flashcards; it exports your saved sources as Markdown, JSON or plain text.
In more detail
Gemini Notebook generates flashcards and quizzes in Studio but offers no download in a deck format. Options: use an extension that lists flashcard CSV export (NotebookLM Tools does), then import the CSV with your deck app's importer and map front and back fields; or ask the notebook chat for question and answer pairs in a two-column table and copy it into a spreadsheet. Check imported cards against your sources, because generated cards can be wrong. Notebook Toolkit is honest about the gap: it does not read Studio flashcards, but it exports your source library, which you can regenerate cards from at any time.
