How to Export All Sources from NotebookLM
Guide to exporting and backing up your NotebookLM sources using Notebook Toolkit. The goal is simple: save it once, then use it again inside NotebookLM.
Before you start
- A Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Arc browser
- The Notebook Toolkit browser extension (free to install)

Do this
Open Notebook Toolkit dashboard
Sign in to notebooktoolkit.com and navigate to the Exports section of your dashboard.
Select sources to export
Choose individual sources or select entire workspaces for bulk export.
Choose export format
Select your preferred format: Markdown, PDF, JSON, or ZIP archive containing all sources.
Configure export options
Choose whether to include metadata, tags, and timestamps. For JSON exports, you can select the schema.
Download your export
Click "Export" and download the generated file. For large exports, you will receive an email when the archive is ready.
