What new quiz formats does Gemini Notebook have?
Last verified: October 12, 2026
Gemini Notebook is adding short-answer, multiple-select and fill-in-the-blank quiz formats, which Google says are rolling out to all users over several weeks from 15 September 2026. Google's announcement describes no export option, and we have not tested Notebook Toolkit against these quizzes, so we do not claim to export them.
In more detail
The three new formats join the existing quiz Studio output. XDA Developers reported on 6 October 2026 that no paid plan is needed. Rollout is gradual, so availability can differ between accounts. We found no export option described in Google's announcement, and we have not tested Notebook Toolkit's exporter against quiz output, so we do not claim it. Notebook Toolkit saves web pages, YouTube videos and AI chats to a private library, sends them to Gemini Notebook through the Chrome extension, and exports library text as Markdown, LaTeX, JSON or plain text. If you rely on a quiz, keep the source documents it was generated from in your own library so you can regenerate it.
