What is NotebookLM?
NotebookLM (renamed Gemini Notebook in July 2026) is Google's source-grounded AI research notebook. You upload sources — PDFs, web URLs, YouTube videos, Google Docs, audio files — and NotebookLM answers questions about them with inline citations. Unlike ChatGPT, it only draws from materials you provide, making its answers verifiable.
